Professionalism, Overrated

Some of my professional/commercial work:

Some of my work can be found at the links below. For a small sampling of photos, click here.

Crested Butte, Colorado is an adventure mecca and my favorite place in the nation, possibly the world. At 8,900 feet in the West Elk range of the Rocky Mountains, we’re surrounded by national forests as far as the eye can see and views of peaks 12,300 to 14,300 feet tall. In 2014 and 2015 I wrote for the Crested Butte News. I enjoyed learning about town’s residents, politics and history. Type “Adam Broderick” in the web page search bar to find my work.

From the TransWorld SNOWboarding headquarters in San Diego, CA (also my hometown) I tested, reviewed, and promoted the latest snowboarding equipment from companies worldwide. I ate, drank, and pissed snowboarding that year. Unfortunately, I didn’t snowboard often. When you live in Southern California, it’s much easier to talk about snowboarding than to actually ride a snowboard. The mountains were calling, so I went…back to Lake Tahoe in Northern California. But before I left I wrote a lot, and also hired others to write for me. It seems the web domains for much of that work have expired, but here are a few of the links I found:

I managed the Tahoe Mountain Sports blog from 2012 to 2014, before moving to Crested Butte for the second time, and wrote the majority of the web content for both the blog and e-commerce site. Most articles were technical and gear-focused, but some just plain and simple fun (with a few links leading back to the online store, of course). Same as with the News, click the above link then type my name in the search bar.

    1. Marrianne,
I subscribed you. You should get a confirmation email shortly. Thanks for following! And for the awesome haircut. I was just telling a friend how much fun you were to talk to, and how happy I am with my new noggin design.
