Adam Broderick is an adventure-journalist living in Crested Butte, Colorado. He has written and taken photographs for Crested Butte’s local newspaper, TransWorld SNOWboarding, Outside Magazine, Backcountry Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, Land Rover, Active Junky, Kronicle, StokeLab, Tahoe Mountain Sports, UnofficialNetworks, and Deuter. For three years he directed the annual splitboard test for Backcountry Magazine and snowboard test for Outside Magazine before becoming the gear editor at TransWorld SNOWboarding.

Born and raised in San Diego, Broderick was immersed in the world of board sports as a youth. Less interested in the progressive direction of modern society’s interdependence and technological advances, he felt himself intrigued by the unknown. Food for the soul has always been more enticing for this nomad. After living in Northern California and Alaska, Broderick eventually made his way to the Rockies, where he found solace in a small mountain town surrounded by National Forest land. That experience was invaluable and will live inside him forever. He spends his free time engaging in, capturing photos of, and writing about the awesome adventures his life leads him on. Broderick knows gear, and he knows how to have fun. While many feel privileged to experience sporadic stoke throughout life, Adam is stoked in general. His greatest pleasures in life come from sharing that stoke with others.

I am sending this link to a hardy group mountainbiking The Cannell Plunge in Kernville this weekend that includes my daughter. They are the kind of people who–if they make it to Colorado–they would look forward to this ride and do it justice. Your write-up puts them there and motivates them to do it. Your descriptions and pictures are awesome and so in the spirit that it is pulse pounding inspirational.
